The SuperPodHeroCast Movie List

Hi! It’s Casey and Todd. We’re guys with beers talking about movies with capes!

We’re going to watch superhero movies in random order. That means theatrically released films about superheroes.

There are some exceptions to the rules:

• The first two movies are not random – we are watching our first major releases for our favorite heroes: Batman and Captain America. (Cap’s movie was a TV movie another exception to the rules.)
• We’ll relax the rules for works with key connections to actors who’ve played Batman or Captain America or significant connections to the DC or Marvel movies universes.
• Disagree with a movie on or off the list? Let us know!
• For series (designated on the list with bracketed series identifiers) we watch them in the order of their release. So the first time we pull a ‘Christopher Reeve’ title we will watch Superman. The second time we’ll watch Superman II.
